From North of Washington DC

 

On Route 295
Take Route 295/BW Parkway South in Washington, DC. After crossing the bridge over Interstate 495 follow Route 295 for approx. 3 miles and take the US-50 West RIGHT exit. Once you enter the city limits, the road becomes New York Ave. Take New York Ave for approx. 5 miles to Florida Avenue. Florida Avenue is 1/2 mile past the Howard Johnson Motel. Turn RIGHT onto Florida Avenue. At the fourth light make a LEFT on Rhode Island Avenue. Follow Rhode Island Avenue for 2 blocks and make a RIGHT onto R Street. Follow R Street past 12th Street and the church should be on your right.

On Interstate 95 S
Take Interstate 95 South and merge RIGHT onto Interstate 495 West. Follow Interstate 495 to Exit 31-B, the Georgia Avenue/ Silver Spring exit. Follow Georgia Avenue into the Washington, DC city limits. Continue on Georgia Avenue pass Howard University and Howard University Hospital. Both will be on your left. Once past the hospital, the street turns into 7th Street. Follow 7th Street for 2 blocks and make a RIGHT on R Street. Follow R Street past 12th Street and the church should be on your right.


From South of Washington, DC


On Interstate 95 N
Take Interstate 95 North towards Washington, DC. This interstate will change to Interstate 395 after Springfield, VA. Follow Interstate 395 into the city. After you have crossed the bridge into the city limits of Washington, DC, take the exit to the left onto Route 1. Route 1 turns into 14th Street. Follow 14th Street for 2 blocks and turn RIGHT onto Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue for 2 blocks and turn LEFT onto 12th Street. Follow 12th Street to the end which runs into Vermont Avenue. Turn RIGHT onto Vermont Avenue and immediately make the first LEFT at the light onto R Street. The church should be on your right.


From East of Washington, DC
On US-50 W
Take US-50 West into Washington, DC. Once you enter the city limits, the road becomes New York Ave. Take New York Ave for approx. 5 miles to Florida Avenue. Florida Avenue is 1/2 mile past the Howard Johnson Motel. Turn RIGHT onto Florida Avenue. At the fourth light make a LEFT on Rhode Island Avenue. From West of Washington, DC
On Interstate 270
Follow Interstate 270 South to the I-270 split. Take the LEFT exit onto Interstate 495 towards Silver Spring, MD. Follow Interstate 495 to Exit 31-B, the Georgia Avenue/ Silver Spring exit. Follow Georgia Avenue into the Washington, DC, city limits. Continue on Georgia Avenue pass Howard University and Howard University Hospital. Both will be on your left. On Interstate 66 E
Take Interstate 66 East into Washington, DC. Interstate 66 will turn into Constitution Avenue. Follow Constitution Avenue to 12th Street. Turn LEFT onto 12th Street. Follow 12th Street to the end which runs into Vermont Avenue. Turn RIGHT onto Vermont Avenue and immediately make the first LEFT at the light onto R Street. The church should be on your right.
