The Reverend Adriane Blair Wise is Minister of Christian Spiritual Formation. Prior to that appointment in January 2007, she served as the Superintendent of Sunday School and Minister of Transition at Metropolitan Baptist Church. She has also served as Principal Coordinator/Consultant for the Center for Ministerial Leadership for the District of Columbia Baptist Convention. Rev. Wise also serves as the Baptist Chaplain at the historic Howard University.

Reverend Wise currently provides leadership as the Associate Ministers Coordinator and Minister of Licensure and Ordination at Metropolitan Baptist Church. She is also a board member of the Christian Discipleship Council and is an instructor for The Christian Discipleship Institute.

She is a graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary earning a Masters of Divinity degree with a concentration in Preaching and Worship. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management and a Certification in African-American Studies both from Richard Stockton College in Pomona, New Jersey.

Reverend Wise has numerous affiliations and awards to her recognition. She is a member of the Rho Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she served for five years as the chapter chaplain.
