To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up... Ecclesiastes 3: 1-3 KJV
What is Stewardship?
Stewardship is the management of another’s property or financial affairs. Christian Stewardship is the management of everything God has entrusted to us: Relationships, spiritual gifts, health, time, careers, families, ministries, and financial resources, to glorify and magnify His name by blessing His people.
We are also stewards of the vision God has for Metropolitan. God’s vision for Metropolitan Baptist Church is calling us to a higher level of ministry. God’s Land in Largo and His vision for a new edifice are the instruments through which Metropolitan will create an innovative and life-changing place of ministry that will mark the life of the church for decades to come. We will bring persons into a saving and redemptive relationship with Christ, build lives, change families, nurture children, honor seniors, and positively impact our new community for Christ. We will leave no one behind. We will worship as a family, in one place, at the same time, to the Glory of God!
