Reverend Nolan Williams, Jr., is the Chief Music Editor of the bestselling African American Heritage Hymnal, a signature sacred music compilation that has now topped sales of 220,000 books worldwide (GIA Publications, 2001). A graduate of Oberlin College (B.A., Music) and Howard University School of Divinity (M.Div), Rev. Nolan has established himself as an excellent preacher/scholar and an exceptional musician.
His new book, Is There a Psalmist In the House? - Purpose, Process and Power for Music and Worship Leadership, is soon to be released. Rev. Nolan has served the Metropolitan Church for ten years, appointed as Minister of Music since 2001.
