Minister Kevin Gresham, II

Minister Kevin Gresham, II serves as the Minister to Children, Youth and Young Adults at the Metropolitan Baptist Church in Largo Maryland, where Dr. Maurice Watson serves as Senior Servant. Prior to serving at the Metropolitan Baptist Church, Minister Gresham was the Minister of Young Adults at the Israel Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland under Reverend Dr. Harlie Wilson, II and the Youth and Young Adult Director at the Greater Saint John Church under Bishop Kevin V. Gresham, Sr.

Since becoming a licensed minister in 2013, Minister Gresham has received the opportunity to minister to God’s people and be used as a vessel to change the lives of many; however, he endured many setbacks along his journey into ministry. He often references overcoming two consecutive years of being requested to withdraw from his high school due to academic failures, and turning those defeats into victories. Minister Gresham recognized that he was blazing a path destined for failure and decided to make a choice to move forward in a direction that was unfamiliar, yet necessary. He eventually went from having one of the lowest GPAs at his high school as a graduating senior to having the highest GPA in his freshman class at the collegiate level. With much drive and dedication, Minister Gresham persevered through his college endeavors and received numerous President’s Awards, Athletic Awards, and honorable mentions on the Dean’s List throughout his academic career. He graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Business Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park while playing football for the Maryland Terrapins. He later earned his Masters of Divinity Degree from Wesley Theological Seminary and completed a program within Howard University School of Business’s Advanced Executive Leadership for Minister’s Program. Minister Gresham was also ordained into the Ministry in July of 2021.

Minister Gresham has traveled to a number of cities domestically and internationally sharing the love of Jesus. Because of his personal obstacles, he published his first book entitled ”Dead End or Divine Encounter? – Discovering Opportunity through Adversity”, in hopes of helping someone overcome their perceived dead end situation. Minister Gresham’s work has been sold all over the world and has afforded him the opportunity to be featured on a number of media platforms, including the Word Network.

Although Minister Gresham has achieved innumerable accomplishments, he acknowledged his desire to have a helpmate by his side. On June 11, 2011, he married Callece Wright and they have two girls named Kallie and Klark.

As a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, Minister Gresham has accepted the call on his life to spread the gospel to all seeking the love of Jesus. For this reason, he has devoted spending his time encouraging souls and imparting in them “all things work together for the good of those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
